Why are we selling a boat that we love?
Tempo has been a safe and comfortable home to our family over the past two years of our adventure, in which we sailed Tempo 15000nm crossing the Atlantic twice and visited more than 15 countries on our journey from Denmark through the Caribbean to the US and back. Throughout our trip we maintained and upgraded Tempo to ensure our comfort and safety in whatever situation arose, and she is there ready to continue cruising. For us, land life with school and jobs awaits, and while we are sad to say goodbye, we are also excited to pass Tempo on to the next adventurers looking to explore life at sea. Whether you are looking to transition to a liveaboard lifestyle or you need a comfortable, safe home for cruising adventures, we are sure Tempo is the one. Tempo has fulfilled all of our dreams, now it’s time to fulfill someone other’s.

What do we love about her?
Tempo is thoughtfully and solidly built. As a family of 5 we needed a boat that would feel like a home and keep us safe in all weathers. The center cockpit is comfortable and safe during long passages, and the fixed railing surrounding the whole aft deck and cockpit adds further safety. The craftmanship of the boat yard build shines through in every detail, and she feels comfortable, even in heavy weather. A flat deck and granny bars around the mast makes deckwork easy and safe at sea.

How does she sail?
As a solid built blue water cruiser, Tempo likes a a bit of a breeze and really shines on a 15-20 knot beam reach, but she is comfortable in all conditions. With her traditional hull, she cuts through the waves avoiding the slamming and rolling of newer, rounder production boats, preventing motion sickness for her crew. Downwind, we have surfed down Atlantic swells going 12 knots with a bit of favouorable current, but our average on longer passages is 5 knots. With reefed main and head sails, 25-30 knots of wind is easily manageable. Whatever the conditions she feels safe and trustworthy.
